SUNDAY: DIVINE FINISH OF MOTIVES FESTIVAL GENK!

MOTIVES FESTIVAL GENK closed yesterday with a superb concert in an extremely crowded Casino Modern. John Scofield's ‘Piety Street Band’ surprised the public with an astonishing inspired blues set pushing the boundaries of jazz. Before that, Philip Catherine (solo) gave a wonderful concert and showed once again to be part of one of the greatest jazz guitarists. However, already in the afternoon there was quite some electricity in the air thanks to the EUJAZZSTAGE offering the public a series of surprising concerts from the Euregion Meuse-Rhin.
